Job description: Join our Team About this opportunity:

Are you early in your career and interested in turning data into solutions that make a real difference?

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & AI organization at Ericsson. You will become part of a collaborative team of 6–7 engineers working with data solutions that support Ericsson’s R&D organization. This is an opportunity to develop your skills while working with Python, modern data technologies and large-scale engineering challenges – with experienced colleagues around you and plenty of room to grow.

What you will do:

As a Data Engineer, you will help make data accessible, reliable and useful. Your work will contribute to the data foundation behind analytics, automation and increasingly AI-based solutions across Ericsson.

Your typical week could include:

Developing data pipelines, services and data products using Python

Working with large and complex datasets

Integrating data from different systems and sources

Improving data quality, reliability and performance

Testing your solutions and participating in code reviews

Solving technical problems together with your team

Learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with colleagues

You will get real development tasks from the start, with support from more experienced engineers as you grow into the role.

The skills you bring:

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field

Good fundamentals in Python

Basic knowledge of SQL and working with data

An understanding of software engineering principles and Git

A curious and analytical approach to solving problems

A willingness to learn and develop

The ability to collaborate and contribute as part of a team

Experience with data pipelines, cloud technologies, CI/CD, APIs, containers or technologies such as Spark is valuable, but not required. Relevant university projects, thesis work, internships or personal projects absolutely count.
