About the Assignment
You will join a skilled agile team responsible for a suite of applications built on the ServiceNow platform. The assignment combines day-to-day platform ownership with ongoing development, which means you will help keep critical applications stable while also driving enhancements and new functionality.
You will work close to both business stakeholders and technical colleagues to understand needs, turn them into practical solutions, and ensure that development aligns with ServiceNow best practices and platform standards. The team works in Scrum with 3-week sprints and handles a mix of larger initiatives, continuous improvements, and maintenance.

Job DescriptionYou will develop, enhance, and maintain applications hosted on the ServiceNow platform.
You will translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
You will contribute to support and maintenance work while driving continuous improvements.
You will build solutions in line with ServiceNow best practices and platform standards.
You will work with integrations and custom API development using REST and SOAP.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the solution leader, and the development team in a Scrum setup.
You will take part in 3-week sprints covering larger initiatives, smaller enhancements, and ongoing platform evolution.
RequirementsExperience with SaaS platform architecture.
Several years of experience as a software developer/engineer.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with HTML and CSS.
Hands-on experience with JSON and XML.
Hands-on experience with MySQL.
Knowledge of REST and SOAP integrations as well as custom API development.
Strong understanding of the Glide API and ServiceNow development best practices.
Fluent Swedish and English.
Nice to haveExperience with Jelly scripting.
Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best-practice guidelines.
Previous experience developing and managing the ServiceNow platform.
Proven ability to deliver maintainable, custom-built applications on the ServiceNow platform.
