Assignment Description We are looking for an experienced CI/CD Platform Engineer / Developer Experience Engineer What You Will Work On Execute and evolve the Buildkite CI strategy at large scale Manage and maintain self-hosted Buildkite agent fleets across: Linux macOS Windows Build and maintain Buildkite infrastructure, pipeline templates, plugins, hooks, and shared libraries Automate agent provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and lifecycle management Improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of CI infrastructure Scale CI infrastructure for large monorepos through efficient pipeline splitting and artifact management Develop standardized CI/CD solutions and improve developer productivity Support migration of internal teams to modern CI platform capabilities Work with cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and/or Azure Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to define best practices for CI/CD Contribute to software engineering best practices including testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

What You Bring 4+ years of experience building and implementing large-scale software or infrastructure systems Strong software engineering experience with Java Experience with Python is beneficial Hands-on experience with Buildkite, including agent management, pipelines, plugins, or hooks Strong understanding of CI/CD platforms and developer infrastructure Experience working with: Docker Kubernetes Terraform Strong knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows environments Experience with Shell and PowerShell scripting Good understanding of HTTP and networking fundamentals Experience deploying and implementing solutions in cloud environments such as: Google Cloud AWS Azure Strong focus on automation, standardization, reliability, and developer experience Experience working collaboratively across multiple engineering teams Strong written and verbal communication skills
