Job description:Shape an engineering function delivering premium HV accessories

As Manager Project Execution Engineering Accessories, you will guide a technically skilled team responsible for planning, prioritizing and executing engineering scope for customer projects, tenders and FEED activities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape structured project execution, deepen collaboration across Karlskrona and Chennai, and ensure high‑quality engineering deliverables that support NKT’s growth and the green transition.

Manage project-driven engineering executionYour leadership will ensure that resources, skills and priorities align with business needs and project demands.

 

Key responsibilities:

•    Manage and deliver project, tender and FEED engineering activities•    Ensure delivery of the engineering scope for RSJ and TDC‑B product applications•    Define scope, interfaces and responsibilities in projects and tenders•    Monitor workload, capacity and risks, initiating mitigation when needed You will collaborate closely with Technology Capability Engineering, Fiber Optic Engineering, Project Management and other key functions. An important part of the role is capturing lessons learned from projects and tenders and ensuring that relevant feedback is transferred to the appropriate product, technology and engineering functions.

 

The position is located in Karlskrona with some travel expected. You will report to the Senior Manager Accessories Engineering and be part of the Accessories Engineering leadership team. 

Strategic leader with a collaborative mindsetYou help create order and communicate clearly within a changing engineering setting. Your solid engineering background enables you to assess technical alternatives and create clarity in complex situations. You have worked close to technology, product development or engineering execution and understand how technical decisions impact delivery and quality.

 

Previous leadership experience is a plus, but not essential — the key is your ability to create structure, move work forward, and make sound technical decisions.

•    Degree in engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical or similar)•    Solid understanding of engineering processes and documentation•    Experience with RSJ or TDC‑B engineering applications are beneficial
