Project Manager - Stockholm

Do you want to lead product development projects from first idea all the way to volume production? We are looking for a Project Manager to our R&D office in Stockholm, where you will drive projects that bring new network products to market.

We are now looking for a Project Manager to our R&D office in Stockholm. You will be part of the Multichannel Products department (MCP), focusing on the development of in first hand new network video products, but the scope of the projects may broaden as we grow.

Who is your future team? The Multichannel Products department is part of the Extended Video Products organization within R&D, and develops new video products from idea to mass production.

You will be part of a team of three project managers in Stockholm and have five more colleagues in Lund. In the projects you will work close with engineers in roles such as software engineers, electronic engineers, mechanical engineers, technical leads and imaging engineers. Other crucial members in our product development projects are industrial leads, production test engineers, sourcing engineers and quality engineers.

Our goal is to run highly efficient product development projects and deliver top-quality products that strengthen Axis' market-leading position.

What you'll do here as Project Manager You will lead product development projects ranging all the way from idea, through conceptual design, execution phase, industrialization and finally handover to volume production. You will typically run two to three projects in parallel, with daily responsibilities such as:

Work with the Product Owner to refine product ideas and requirements Handle day-to-day project management activities such as planning, risk mitigation and following up on project progress Lead and motivate the project team towards successful goal completion Actively look for solutions, including technical ones, and drive decision making Identify synergies and manage dependencies across projects Set ambitious yet realistic schedules and support the team in reaching them Advocate for your project and work persistently towards tollgate deadlines Contribute with ideas on how we can improve our way of working In our fast-paced, innovative and team-oriented culture, characterized by openness, you will have plenty of opportunities to grow both professionally and as an individual.

Who are you? You have a genuine interest in product development across the full cycle - from refining ideas into requirement specifications, to getting all the details in place for mass production of the final product.

At a growing site, you are comfortable when things are not yet fully defined. You take responsibility for creating clarity for your project team and, together with your colleagues, help build well-functioning operations. The role is highly collaborative. You communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders inside and outside the organization, and you actively contribute to a good team spirit.

We see that you have experience of leading product development projects involving a mix of software, electronics and mechanics. You have an engineering degree in relevant field. Experience from industrialization and hand-over to volume production is a plus.

Professional working proficiency in Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required for this role.
