About the role We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Xource team and help ensure the quality and accuracy of the software data that powers the Xensam platform. In this role, you will analyze and normalize complex software data into structured application information, including manufacturers, license types, product families, and other key metadata. You will take ownership of more complex analytical work, support customer cases, and contribute to projects that improve our data quality, processes, and internal tools. Beyond your day-to-day analytical work, you will contribute to improving data quality, processes, and ways of working across the team. The role offers the opportunity to mentor other analysts, support onboarding, share your expertise, and help shape how we work with software data as Xensam continues to grow. Responsibilities

Analyze and normalize complex software data into accurate application information

Review data and maintain high standards for quality and consistency

Research and resolve complex software and data-related cases

Support customer cases and provide clear technical guidance

Support onboarding and mentor other analysts through knowledge sharing and feedback

Contribute to projects that improve workflows, documentation, and data quality

Identify opportunities to improve internal tools and ways of working

Collaborate with Product and other teams on improvements and development initiatives

Qualifications

Strong experience in data analysis, data normalization, or a similar analytical role

Good technical understanding of software, applications, and data

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality

Comfortable taking ownership and working independently

Experience mentoring, onboarding, or sharing knowledge with colleagues

Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Bonus points if you have

Experience working with software or application data

Experience with Software Asset Management or software normalization

Experience with software licensing or software inventory

Experience providing technical customer support

Experience improving internal tools, workflows, or automation
