TEED Group is a Kiruna-based corporate group operating within vehicle service, vehicle rental, and the sale of pre-owned vehicles. Within our workshop operations we work under TEED Maintenance & Tires AB and serve a broad range of customers, from private individuals to corporate clients with specialised technical needs.
As Norrbotten develops into a hub for advanced industry and technology-intensive operations, an increasing number of international actors are establishing themselves in the region. We currently have an equivalent sales position held by a Swedish-speaking employee responsible for our national B2B market. In order to meet the growing demand from international customers, we are now expanding the function and are looking for a Sales Representative with a technical background who will be specifically responsible for business development towards international industrial and technology customers operating in the area. The position therefore complements our existing function, with a clear delineation towards the international customer portfolio.
About the Role
As Sales Representative – Technical B2B, you serve as the link between the workshop`s technical expertise and the customer`s business-critical needs. The position is primarily directed at international corporate customers, which means that all business dialogue, technical presentations, negotiations and documentation are conducted predominantly in English. The role requires that you can independently lead advanced technical discussions in English with customers whose operations place high demands on precision, operational reliability and documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and developing business relationships with international corporate customers within the technology and industrial sectors operating in the region.
• Conducting technical customer visits, needs analyses and quotation work in English for specialised service assignments.
• Translating customer technical requirements and English-language documentation into the workshop`s work orders, and ensuring accurate reporting back to the customer.
• Supporting the workshop with technical advisory and interpretation services on more complex assignments, including specialised vehicles and equipment with high tolerance requirements.
• Negotiating and managing customer agreements, framework agreements and service contracts with international corporate customers – all conducted in English.
• Monitoring technological developments and the establishment of international actors in the region, and adapting our offering accordingly.
Qualifications
Required:
• Post-secondary education in engineering, technology or an equivalent field, alternatively documented professional experience at a comparable level.
• At least 1 year of experience in technically oriented sales or account management within a B2B environment involving complex technical products or services.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electromechanical systems, and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Experience working with customers who place high demands on quality, documentation and delivery precision.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, is an absolute requirement. You must be able to conduct business negotiations, deliver technical presentations and prepare contracts and technical documentation in English without difficulty, as all customer dialogue is conducted in English.
• Driving licence, category B.
Meriting:
• Experience of sales or technical advisory work towards international customers within advanced industrial operations, automotive or transport-technical sectors.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards regarding technical documentation, quality assurance or traceability in an international context.
• Experience of managing framework agreements, procurement processes or public-sector clients.
• Additional language skills beyond English.
